Abstract: Study by Enrique de Leguina, Baron de la Vega de Hoz, which deals on bronze artworks. The book is divided into chapters and has a chronological approach. The first chapter deals with the classic period with the description of Phoenician, Iberian and Roman objects. The second chapter focuses on bronze from Arab, Moorish, Roman-Byzantine and Gothic periods. The third chapter looks at the Renaissance in analyzing the figures of the sculptors Juan de Arfe and Pompeyo Leoni. The fourth chapter describes objects from the 17th and 18th centuries and the bronzes in the Palacio del Retiro. And the fifth and sixth chapters study the bronze works related to the church such as the crosses and bells.
