Abstract: The inaugural guide of the Victor Balaguer Museum Library, situated in Vilanova i la Geltrú. Established in 1884 by Victor Balaguer i Cirera (Barcelona, December 11, 1824 – Madrid, January 14, 1901), the library was created as a token of gratitude to the city for its support throughout his political career. Balaguer, a liberal politician, romantic writer, poet, historian, and a prominent figure in the Catalan Renaissance.
