Abstract: Speech delivered by the architect Bonaventura Bassegoda i Amigó at the Provincial Academy of Fine Arts in honor of August Font i Carreras, an architect, academic, teacher of the College of Architects and a disciple of Elias Rogent. The speech is presenting his major works including the facade of Barcelona cathedral and the Fine Arts Palace built for the 1888 Universal Exhibition. Seven illustrations accompany the text, sketches of his architectural projects.
